Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day 2015

The Arc of Florida & The Florida Developmental Disabilities Council will host the 2015 Developmental Disabilities Day, on March 5, 2015. This event will take place on the 2nd Floor Rotunda of the Florida Capitol. Exhibitor will be there to display and share information and services available to person and families with developmental disabilities. You will also have an opportunity to visit with legislators to share their concerns regarding issues affecting persons with developmental disabilities. this scholarship allows parents to personalize the education of their kindergarten through 12th grade children with special needs and unique abilities by directing money toward a combination of programs and approved providers. Step Up For Students is a state approved nonprofit scholarship organization that, for the past 12 years, has helped administer the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program for low income students and is now helping administer the PLSA also.
